I've got to disagree with this. Grinding is certainly possible right now. But there aren't enough mobs, and the respawn rate is too low. So many areas will not support grind parties. And there are very few areas that will support more than one grind party.

So when you take out leves, and everyone in the game has to grind? Grinding is not going to be doable.

Of course, maybe they're aware of this. Maybe 1.18 will include significant changes to mob distribution and respawn rates, so grinding will become viable. But that would take some pretty significant changes.

It's a self-fulfilling solution. There won't be enough mobs so players will get bored and quit. Once some people quit then there will only be enough players left to form one party. Only the strong (or determined) survive.
