So basically, they want me to quit until the party content is out? I'm fine partying with leves right now. I like running 8 person leve parties. I like how it works now, and they're changing it in a way that's negative for me.

In my opinion, they shouldn't have changed leves until the party content was ready. This is a bad move that actually makes the game have even less content. It's pretty easy to walk away from XIV right now, and this just makes it easier.

I won't say there's no validity to this arguement, because there is. But when you look at the bigger picture you see that changes of this magnitude take time. Sure, it would be nice to optimize both party and solo play together, but when you sit on content, players complain nothing is being done. It's a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation for Yoshida.

As he said, if they try to do everything at once, nothing will get done at all. I have not given up on the game, but to make the wait easier I have started playing Rift. It's not Final Fantasy, and it's blatantly unoriginal, but it's a fun pass-tme.
