I was thinking more like Curtana/Holy shield Zeniths to Excalibur/Aegis. I know they've spoken about this idea before in an interview before the game was released

I was thinking the same thing: That they changed the "+1" to "Zenith" because they'd be giving us Full Name Changes with every other patch / upgrade, like:

* Curtana --> Curtana Zenith --> Save The Queen --> Save The Queen Zenith --> Ragnarok --> Ragnarok Zenith --> Excalibur --> Excalibur Zenith (FINAL)

Something like that, perhaps?
