There is a separate storage for armor etc, so why not something for bait and lures?
Afterall it is gear in a sense and Fisher does have the action "Tackle Box".
Give Fishers back their regular inventory space by giving them an actual tackle box.

yes no doubt! amen to this! bait takes nearly an entire page!![]()
I like this idea. I'm not sure if I'd prefer a separate "inventory" or just adding a specific page just for bait to our existing inventory.
This could also be an off-hand item.
I really hope this makes it into the game soon; why should fishers have to lose a page or two of inventory?
Yeah, while we're at it, lets give each DoH/DoL class their own storage for ingredients! OR Every class their own! Screw it, give me unlimited storage and unlimited number of customized buckets! /sarcasm
Stop complaining; you have more than enough storage. 175x2 from retainers, 100 on your person. Store things you don't need.
So says the fool that's never Fished before. Fishing level of ZERO. I don't tell you how to BLM or how to express yourself about it. Just keep it to yourself please and let the Fishermen have their discussion.Yeah, while we're at it, lets give each DoH/DoL class their own storage for ingredients! OR Every class their own! I have lots of friends who do fishing and none of them I asked said they need 90+ slots. I have not fished myself but I do have one retainer full of DoH mats and another half-full of CUL mats. I had my inventory full of mats when crafting; going to my retainer everytime I need something is a PITA. You don't need a tackle box; it would be a nice quality-of-life implementation, yes, but there's a lot more in this game that should take precedent.
I have most classes to 50, and 4 retainers which are sorted by mat type so I can find things fast when I'm crafting [Metal/alchemy reagents, cloth/leather/wood, animal/fish/food mats, and gear/dye/prisms].
I carry around a few baits I use daily to get maps and food mats, food, and mats which I need almost every time I make something.
Crafters have the option to always craft by retainers.
When you use the other gathering classes, you're typically only gathering one or two mats, taking up only a few slots in your inventory, versus taking up an entire page or so of unwanted fish in nq and hq. You can be picky with bait to reduce the number of unwanted fish, but sometimes there's no getting around it.
It's not really the same thing. There's no need for more inventory space for the other classes since you should craft by your retainers, and you can plan ahead easily for btn/min.
I've been hoping and praying for this feature to be implemented for a while now. In fact, I came on to the forums to start a post about it but searched to make sure I wasn't making a duplicate threadThis idea seems like a no brainer, I just hope the devs see it the same way.
