Do your icon's show different colored text to signify out of range? Mine turn red. Or maybe that only works for actions on the crossbar....

And the game does have a screenshot feature. Defaults are Print Screen for keyboards and L1+ Start button for PS3 controllers (looks to be the same for both PC and PS3, according to the Lodestone's play guides).
