This is pretty garbage (ultima runs)

3 times in a row after successfully killing ultima the same fending ring dropped, and 3 times I was the guy with the lowest roll.

This is pretty garbage considering the fact that the second time this happened, the warrior needed the drop even tho he was wearing i90 in the slots?

I don't even know what to say to that, any chance this garbage is getting fixed?

Vanity. Also, it wasn't like that i90 tank was doing ultima for no reason. If no lotting rules were made it is all up for grabs.

Get over it at least you had a chance to roll, I've lost count of many many times I've killed Ultima and have yet to see it drop. Am i complaining? No. Why? You can't fix RNG.

You have to look at it this way; did he participate in the battle? Does he have a class that can need it, regardless of if he has better gear? Then he has a right to need it.

Heck, most people are cool with passing if you're nice about asking.

What two rings did he have specifically? If he had Garuda and Allagan (or Hero's and Garuda), the Ultima Fending Ring is something to get (Garuda's is just a bad ring for tanks; I can't wait to get rid of mine). Its also arguably better than the Hero's Ring outside Coil (7 DET/14 Parry vs 16 Acc/11 Parry) or if you don't need the Accuracy.

So, no, I can't blame a tank for grabbing the Ultima Fending Ring. Its a very good ring for tanks to have.


Also, he did participate, and since he was a tank I have to assume he didn't get carried (kinda hard to as a tank in that fight), so if he could roll on it its his right to. You said nothing about lotting rules, so you can't really complain about it.

There's no rules against that. Need/greed system is if your job can use it and you don't have it in inventory already (unique), you can roll on it. Blame your bad luck, not the game.
