My char got stack in game

Hi,

i got crash in game today and my char stay in the game , i went to the website and talk to the support on the online chat they told me they can't help you must talk to the call the gm in the game he can help you , i went to the game and call the gm , i told me the same go the website and talk to the support , then i went back to the website the support told me you must wait 24 hours or tell the next Maintenance.

WHAT I HAVE TO DO NOW ?!

I'm confused, is your character physically 'stuck' somewhere in the game or is you character still logged in and it won't let you back on?

this happened to me.. went to log in and got the error i was already in game
facebook'd FC members and found i was still standing where i logged out
i got told just to wait... was like wtf?!?! what if i was getting hacked? am i suppose to just wait?

almost 24hrs later my char finally got kicked and i could log back in....

I've had this a couple time before, I just waited about 10 minutes and I was able to log back in.

my char still logged in game more than 8 hours now , and i can't log in it

Think they meant for you to go to the support website, and not the forums. This forum is for users to assist other users. For support from SE, need to use the support website portal to generate a ticket or post in the bug reports forum if it is a bug, as explained in the guidelines posted in the welcoming sticky.

The support site can be accessed from the "Support" button at the bottom of the launcher, or from the "Help & Support" drop menu in the Lodestone by clicking on the link for "Customer Service and Suggestions".

Then you may indeed simply need to wait a little longer for their recovery routine to kick in. They had issues with this back before official launch, and supposedly implemented a fix for it, but it takes a while to kick in... don't think they gave any specifics on the time frame, but it was taking a while for people to auto-recover. Not sure just when this happened, but it's only been about an hour since the first post. So you may need to wait a bit longer for it to kick off. 24 hours does seem a bit extreme though...

They are having stability issues at the server level atm though, as acknowledged in posts starting March 5th. They've been working on i t the last week, and have another maintenance planned to hopefully address it further. That maintenance should be forcing a hard reset of all connections when the servers go down, which is probably why they threw in that bit about waiting for the maintenance.

Sometimes if you try logging in a different character it will kick start the process of kicking your current character out of the game. It should do this when trying to log in the same character as well, but it doesn't always. Also, make sure you're completely shutting down the game and rebooting the launcher instead of just exiting back to the log-in screen.
