Not sure what is going on, but no matter what the big spike dying instantly wipes the party.

It seems like they have tuned up iffy's damage. the spike damage nearly kills all the dps and at least one healer. Anything you can do to prevent this?

Make sure people are at full health with no stacks from the small nails before LB/killing it. I haven't noticed any changes in my primal runs.

make sure your healer doesnt panic and try to run to DPS to cure 3 with their debuff still on.....

easy solution : melee Lb3 jumbo nail as soon as LB3 bar available with tanks used HG or whatever damage mitigation cd available, sounds like ur party is undergeared much or ur healer without debuff sux cuz he/she should run with ur dps and area heal em, cuz that jumbo nail (without small ones debuff) do roughly around 2.7k damage

If you destroyed other nails shortly before the big nail is destroyed, you'll have Vulnerability Up on you, making that big nail easily wipe the party. It's to prevent people from just going "LOL METEOR" like in Hard.

For the big nail, a couple of things help.

1. Top everybody off
2. Get Succor and Sacred Soil up
3. Get the off-tank away if Eruption is coming soon
4. Mantra

Or kill big nail first, easiest thing because normally all ppl are topped off at the beginning of nail phase. Then, all ppl should cuddle with the big nail except OT (cuz of eruption), MT and healer with debuff. The WHM can easily cast divine sealed Cure 3 and then you can continue with the little nails.
