    Square Enix/FFXIV Account region change

    I used to live in the UK (Which is where my SE account was reigstered and copy of FFXIV was purchased). Recently moved into the US and am now wondering how do I or when I can have my region changed to the US now. As a US citizen, my subscription to Final Fantasy XIV is now coming to $24-$26 dollars USD across all the current payment options and I really don't plan on paying that much a month for it in USD. I doubt there's absolutely no one I can talk to or not way to get this changed or fixed at all. I highly doubt and hope that SE isn't going to just tell me "It's your fault for moving." Thanks in advance for any help.

    It's possible that they can't move your account to be US based instead of EU based due to legal/accounting reasons...
    While we play in a shared world, what you bought and subscribed to is the EU version and not the NA version.

    SE's stated position is that you cannot change Regions: http://account.square-enix.com/manual/en/attention.html

    I have never seen anything posted since that time to indicate that policy has changed. If it has then as Calynare said, you'll need to contact CS, the only SE staff you'll see on here are 'mods' there are no CS reps around.
