I feel like these should be marked for Armoire deposit. They were a limited-time item and a gift from Hildibrand during the Seventh Umbral Era quest Prophecy Inspection. Everything else related to that arc got marked - Dalamud Horn, Patriot Choker, White Ravens - why not these?

(In the same vein, it probably won't break any hearts if U/U and Armoire tags are finally set on the items from the first few holidays, either. Dream attire, Usagi kabutos, etc.)

There's a few other bits and pieces that seem like they should be armoirable too. I notice no-one remembered those awesome earrings though!

Be nice if the Armoire got a full work-over and became a repository for all U/U gear. And wasn't just a cupboard, but a poorly-lit vault under your house with rows upon rows of mannequins and weapons racks displaying your collection. I guess after a decade or so it would start to resemble Warehouse 13 though...

I, too, have been hoping for an expansion of our storage capabilities. Thing is, every time people ask for it in bulk, the logical ones they might consider get ignored once they see all the things they're totally not going to do. I figured if I started small, we might at least get the things that desperately need updating done.

But I share in your views of the rest. I find it frustrating that Square Enix would make it a development goal to have upwards of four times the gear, encouraging that most of it be traded in, converted, and dropped to be earned again...but without consideration for the things that are bought and built and earned. There has to be some sort of compromise. In my humble opinion, anything you've worked hard on should be able to be kept, no matter how cheap they make it later. Sentiment matters. Identity matters. I miss the NPC in FFXI that would give you a Key Item ticket and store gear if you had the full set. That would be a good compromise, I think. Bought a full set of tome gear? Sure, store it. Ran that dungeon grind until you had every piece? Store it.
