Why is Crafting still in the game?

I'll say it once, I'll say it a million times.

Making crafting actually worth doing is more important than stopping RMTs. I'll take all the stupid gil-seller spam you care to add to the game any day if it's a side effect of making crafting actually enjoyable.

Dear gods, no, I want to craft and gather in peace thank you very much. Maybe to you black listing a name every 10 seconds while crafting is enjoyable, but not to me.
