Why is Crafting still in the game?

So, I pose the question: Why do the crafting professions still exist?

I see on the lodestone you are wear full HQ crafted gear. Please remove all gear and vendor it as the professions that make that gear are useless. If crafting professions no should exist, then gear you are wear should no exist.

I have crafted gear for my other jobs. And it is useful up to a point, but, they throw SO MUCH GEAR at you through the game, and you level SO QUICKLY, that crafted gear for alts isn't as useful as some might think.

I prefer to not have to dungeon grind for my gear. Which is why I leveled all crafts. Then, I found out that even if I wanted to craft my high level gear, I would be required to run dungeons to get tomestones. And if I'm running dungeons, I might as well just get darklight. Which is what led me to my current frustration

I recently gained a few levels on blm, which is why I'm back to hq crafted gear. If you check back after my next gaming session, you'll see that I'll be wearing a mix of crafted gear and gear that I'm getting from levequests. I don't NEED to be wearing the crafted gear, I'm wearing it just because I can.

It are more that you say crafting professions are useless, and then wear full crafted gear...

Also 32 are level for braybray gear!
