Can you sell Sprite Bonded Items?

So I have some items in my innovatory that're sprite bonded 100%. However, they don't have the green or pink back grounds which means I can't trade them to the Grand Companies. I look in the market to see that these items ARE SELL-ABLE, as they don't say unique or untradable on them.

Is there anyway to sell them on the Market or remove the sprite bond? Because the items I have can sell for more then the materia they become. And I fine it unfair that I'm missing out on what could be considerable profit gain just because I used the item too much.

It's not the spirit binding that's the problem, it's that items become bound to you upon use, period. They're two separate things. There are ways to remove the spirit bond, but it still won't let you sell the item in the market boards.

You cant sell things once they become bound to you.

If you use it once, its yours forever, even if it has 0.001% spirit bond.

Although equipment does have a durability rating, all damage to it can be repaired, so equipment never breaks entirely. If players were allowed to use an item for as long as they were at the right level for it and then pass it on to another player who could do the same, then the same few items would continue to forever supply all characters on the server. There would be no purpose for any new equipment to enter the game, so there would be no purpose for crafting, no purpose for dungeon drops, etc. Basically, all rewards that the game offers would quickly become obsolete.

To avoid that problem, the game has a rule that once you use an item, nobody else can ever use it. That way, every new player who wants an item requires a new item to be either made or dropped. This ensures a continuous demand for new items, so it keeps the game's rewards useful.

This is the rule that the vast majority of MMOs use to solve this problem. The only other alternative is a rule where items cannot be continuously repaired, and eventually any item will break completely and can never again be used. That alternative is less popular because players get attached to gear that took a lot of effort to obtain or sometimes just because they finally got a piece they like the look of. It's generally better to let the player who earned it keep it as long as they like, but don't allow it to be traded than to allow trading but make it only last a short while.

Don't be so quick to say the armor's worth more than the materia. Some materia can be quite valuable. And you may have gotten ripped off when you bought the armor.
