No it's not. It's easy to get swiped by ifrit in the process as well, and if you screw up it's wipe. And you can't do it 100% as certain times you can't do it, such as plume stage, which you have to get seared anyway. So it becomes as scripted as regular ifrit ex.
Basically it's even harder then sear normal on the healer with no really change in output.
It all comes down to phase 3 in the end. Reaching phase 1 and 2 with or without sear is easy. If you can't do with 100% effectiveness in phase 3, screw it. You're just going to wipe and waste 10minutes of everyone's time. No different from regular searing winds.
It's something to attempt in a last ditch move, but the risk is pretty high as of current set up.
