    I'm gonna assume that a lot of ppl that have beaten Ifrit EX have all watched the same tutorial video as they all seem to use the same strat and have since taught that strat to others and so on.. Now what if the LoSing Howl method was used in that video instead? It would probably be the common practice and ppl would be like "this healer sucks, he keeps getting Searing Wind cast on him" etc

    They would of nerfed it anyway if that fate was recorded to have "too many" people completing it (i.e over-usage, Most companies don't want people to spam one thing to advance quickly, You wonder why there is a cap on tomes? (2.2 tomes will most definitely be capped too, why there is a lock out on Coil? (the lockout for coil will move to 6-10) & CT's lockout will be removed (First group of bosses) because of current (2.2) content being 100+)

    Outdated content will always be eased up to make room for current (this doesn't apply to EXP gain content though)

    Maybe it was not an exploid, but they came later to the idea that it was not balanced, too

    Eh, I kinda hope they patch it. It's the only thing making the fight somewhat different and had, without that it would be extremely boring.

    lol searing wind is such an easy mechanic to deal with, if people are having a hard time of it and need to cheese their way thru it they shouldnt be doing x mode primals in the first place.

    so sick of people always trying to half ass something. learn to deal with the mechanics noobs

    I hope they leave it the same. Afterall, all of our casts get interupted if the mob moves slightly to the side causing a broken neck LOS cause obviously when don't turn our heads to face a mob that went from center to the right. XD

    To be honest I really hope this doesn't catch on as the prefered way of doing the fight (just as solo heal Garuda already kinda became the norm for farms). It's already a pain to get into Garuda EX farm groups because I never tried solo heal (and no one wants to be the first group where I try it, hah), and this solo heal strat sounds like a recipe for disaster (failing to do it properly = almost sure wipe). And it's not like there's a distinct advantage to adding another DPS due to the enrage, and most groups already just go full ranged to null howl anyways. >:

    Give it a try, it's easy. I made like 3 other healers give it go and they ended up doing it in 1-3 tries.
