How FATEs work

Hi all,

I'm still relatively new to ARR so I still have a lot to learn. My question in this case is in regards to how FATEs work. I see a lot of threads popping up stating getting gold and expecting rewards. Is this only for specific FATEs later in the progression is are these rewards available from level 3 and up? I know your participation affects the XP and such rewards you receive, but wasn't sure what else is included.

All fates will give you xp (as long as you aren't max level) and grand company seals (once you have joined a grand company). Some specific fates will give other rewards: Odin gives mantles, Behemoth gives horns, fates there is an achievement for will give you a minion, and some seasonal fates have a special reward.

Also,
Your "grade" of bronze, silver, or gold are based on your participation in the fate.
The participation is graded different as a tank, healer, or dps.

Some of the larger fates, like Odin or Behemoth, also require you to be in a full party to have a gold rating!
