Crafted i70 gains 10~13% SB from a full run of CT. It's very easy to fully SB while you're waiting for your piece to drop.

There really shouldn't be a reason not to SB between ADS and Caduceus in T1. I know some people who switch to SB stuff during that section.
The rest of Coil I'd keep your good gear out...
EDIT: And yeah, CT is the best place for SB right now, until Coil is unlocked. Even then, don't SB in Coil with randoms, just FC groups (or you will likely get kicked for hindering the group)
Since I hit 50, basically all I did was Ifrit HM (one clear), Garuda HM (one clear), Thornmarch (many times to get the weapon), Titan HM (one clear). Lately I do CT once a week, and try to find PF Ultima HM goups. I've been in T1 with a newbie friendly group that didn't clear the snake. I guess I'm more interested in actual progression than grinding tomes, which is leaving my gear unbound.
In the GC armor, there's a ring or wrist item you can buy that increases spirit bonding. Not sure by how much it actually does it, as I haven't paid attention, but may be worth your while.

As far as boosting spiritbond goes, you have the Patriot Choker and Patriot Bracelet from GC for +1 each (Can replace the Patriot Bracelet with the bracelet for completing 500 Company Leves for +2 instead), Meteor Survivor Ring from a sidequest for +3, can wear an Aetheryte Ring (itself a convertible item) for +1 (Or the ring for completing 200 provisioning missions for +1), the earring for doing 500 supply missions for +1, and a Gambler's Crown for melding 5 materia to a single item for another +1.
All told, you can get +9 to spiritbonding. However, I don't know how fast this actually increases spiritbinding, you'd be gimping your stats even more, and outside of the aetheryte rings you can't convert these items.
I also have to ask, why worry about SBing ilvl 70+ weapons? The Alkalurops is the only one of those you can convert, and why would you?
