Dol dungeons, timed survival style?

Was wondering how a dol could be integrated into a dungeon run and actualy be functional. Best I can tell if it were set up as a sort of survival campaign with multiple waves of enemies with a five or six man party. (Tank, healer, 2 dps, and 1 or 2 dol) have say two or three waves per non respawning gathering points, but it's just a thought.

This would require a different style of gameplay for dungeons, since the gatherer cannot receive damage, but I like it.
