I don't foresee implementing a real world clock widget being a content halting issue. The Eorzea clock widget is up. /clock reveals the time, so the number is being passed in to FF14 (if memory serves, not at the game right now). Let the widget toggle the Eorzea clock to display real time.

For those questioning against a clock widget, the next time you walk around an office environment and see how many cubes have a separate clock at their desk. Or at home, how many folks don't have a separate clock at their computer or don't bring a phone to the computer. They usually don't, because the computer clock is enough. It's easy for people to lose track of time if the clock/time isn't present to make them more cognicient of the time. All the time, I hear, "Wow it's that late already?" "Holy cow, it's time to go?" or "Why is there a half naked lalafell in my bed?"

Yes to the clock widget reflecting real world time.
