    Can I get a clock?

    Amidst all of the monolithic changes and requests, I fear some minor niceties might get over looked, one that I have come to realise is important to me, is nothing more than an on screen "real world time" clock.

    I know that I can type /clock or even look up from the screen at a real clock, but when I get drawn into a game, I rarely think about checking what time it is. When a clock is highly visible on screen (like near the mini map, how the game clock is), I see it often.

    I have taken to running XFire for the sole purpose of providing an overlay clock, and this has helped me more than I thought it would. XFire seems a bit overkill for a clock, and the PS3 version will not have this option, so I would like to throw out the idea for a real world on screen clock.

    Toss it to the side, do the core changes, the content changes, the really important stuff, but please do not forget it.

    Heya!

    Should be a good gadget to have indeed. Anyway considered the state of the game I'd do it when their charge of work is completed (some time later than the end of September). For now you can /clock or check the little clock in (default) top right. I have a Swatch that tells me the hour, and being fiscal about the clocks I check it every 10-20-30 minutes.
    That's how I time for low-ranked NM hunting =D

    I don't see such a bother for now. Maybe in the future, when content will be so much complex that you need a clock.

    See ya!

    Unfortunately the clock in the top right hand corner is in game time, so doesn't really help much.

    It isn't about in game content, its about being aware of the real world time for things like sleep, food, or spending time with family. Granted I could set up alarms on my phone, or keep a digital clock right in front of my screen, or any number of other solutions, but an on screen real world time clock (maybe even just a toggle for the existing on screen game clock) would be a much more elegant solution.

    Uhhh, if someone can't tell that they're tired, hungry, or if they can't tell if they are missing out on family time, then;

    1. They're a pedophile and the world rejects them morally and as a human being.
    2. They're Asian (They don't need sleep) MACHINES I TELL YOU!
    3. They can't fit out of their door to go out, or they're stuck in the chair in between the arm rests.

    other than that, use an egg timer (Best invention for HNM camping EVAR!)

    If you seriously get so lost in a video game that you need a clock on your computer screen because you can't be bothered to look up, you might want to consider therapy...

    That's just plain unhealthy.

    I miss having a real-time clock below my mini-map, too. ;.;

    I can't believe there's any resistance to this kind of thing.

    It's a damn clock, just agree and move on. For convenience's sake, it's a good idea.

    End of.
