Though what bothers me at the posts:
We realize that currently, the game is lacking in a lot of crowd control type of spells, and we need these to make battles more strategic. To introduce these types of spells, we think one obvious way is to introduce a new caster class that's able to handle them.
As you know, the biggest problem with adding a new class is all the stuff you have to add with it. If you add a new class, you have to add a new job. When you add a new class and job, it means you have class and job quests and then you have class and job items and then you have battle balance and so it’s a lot of extra work.
Isn't Arcanist exactly what he wants for the next caster? It's descriptions lays traps for enemies with magic. It's items are already designed, it's guild is already there, and as far as I can remember Arcanist was supposed to be out at the same time as the release. The Job was mentioned to Be Geomancer. So like I said what is exactly holding up this class from being released?
