More Diversity with Mounts

I agree with the mounts being too much. They're just huge, blocking views and NPCs'.... Was it not tested before release...?

I'd like it more if there was appearance customization to chocobos, like different "hairstyles" for them, tails, wings, colors of course, beaks, eye type, eye colors.. etc etc... (yeah, not gonna happen...)

I admit I enjoy some fan service, but all these mounts and minions is just getting kind of silly... lol INB4 SEPHIROTH mount just coz fanservice

a mount have for purpose to make you go from A to B faster than without...

Different abilities are a neat idea, however, Square did mention that the only difference in mounts will be the looks. They don't want people thinking they need to get a specific mount and never use any of the others.

I'm currently using the drake mount as it uses the least space on my screen by being close to the ground I try to collect them all, though, cause OCD >.>; but I too dislike huge ones that often run into my camera just as I'm about to click on a NPC or an object /tableflip

After seeing the newest mount in the works it appears that there really isn't any distinguishing characteristics between mounts that isn't cosmetic.

I'd like to see more diversity with mounts other then how they look. Exclusive abilities and whatnot...

I do wonder what use we will have for airships. If it's travel, by free flying well be able to get from point A to point B in 10 seconds cause Eorzea isn't really that big even on foot. That's 9 seconds slower than teleporting @____@; I'm hoping for aerial zones and battles and floating cities. Getting flashbacks of my time in Allods now :x
