Just remembered that ACT stores data in history. Does you friend know he can pull up past encounters without the game up? =P
Looking through the cad fights from the last 6 weeks, I average about 320... I'll have to look into that but our SMN is pulling about 265 with pet dps. T5 was closer than I thought as our SMN pulled about 290 but still the DRG was over 310. Not sure how we are parsing higher on Twin than we are straight burn on Cad <__< kinda bizarre. I wonder if maybe something is skewing the data.

265 is extremely low for SMN in T1. I'm pretty sure you can do more than that with full DL + Zenith.

DRG parsing 310, more than they do on Cad, is an issue of the fight duration being cut short - on Twintania, ACT must be set to not drop combat when not applying damage for ~30 seconds.Just remembered that ACT stores data in history. Look at total duration. Anything less than ~10 minutes means you dropped combat and it's not the full fight.
You are talking about "Number of seconds to wait after the last combat action to begin a new encounter" option?DRG parsing 310, more than they do on Cad, is an issue of the fight duration being cut short - on Twintania, ACT must be set to not drop combat when not applying damage for ~30 seconds.

I have it set to 12 seconds.

Bards are severely under represented on this thread. Seems like almost everyone thinks bards are pretty much the bottom of the barrel in DPS potential.
I'll attempt to remedy that with my records now that 2.1 is over. There was no cheesing or deliberate attempt on the raids part to pad my numbers, etc.
I do not have an allagan bow, so bards are capable of doing at least 15 dps higher than my records.

T5: 297, taken on 3-25 (this was a 7 man carry run with 1 tank, +10 dps over my prior record with a standard comp - I theorize the record was broken by so much due to added time on debuffed asclepius, it was one pull but my combat time out wasn't set right, thus 'All' is selected, no splicing. Duration on mine is longer than others so maybe the parse should be higher than it is?).

Are you suggesting those numbers are particularly high? Sorry to say, but all those numbers get trounced by MNK/SMN/DRG T1-5, and BLM trounces that T4 and T5. I've personally scored 320 as BLM in T5 and there's always room for improvement.Bards are severely under represented on this thread. BRD is not a bad DPS by any means. However, in tank and spank fights like BC, where training dummy DPS gets to come out, or multi-DoTs, or AoE, they're not going to win in any turn. It's in content like dungeons and primals, with lots of dodging and phase changes/resets, where BRD can nigh top the charts with 280+ without DRG, while everyone else gets hurt ranging from a little to very much so.
