because u need smn + blm for double slow on dreads (we had lot of pain with double blm)

But it works... our OT is stunning it 2-3 times, and thats enough, just for safety we put Slow on it...

What are you talking about lol, my group goes with BRD/BLM/MNK/DRG with no problems, you don't need both SMN and BLM

Some food for thought as far as increasing group DPS goes

We had a PLD main tank the entire fight. our WAR tanked the 3 adds at start and the 4 small snakes.

I was DRG and put on Twintania from the very start, only switching off for conflags and Dreads. <==This made me #2 Aggro to the PLD. Since the #2 aggro doesnt get targeted with anything, we had the WAR stand away for dreads and just walk in to stun it with brutal swing, which i would follow with leg sweep. We experienced fluid and easy dreads, and a fast Twisters phase because of this.

As a note to the above posts, our comp was PLD,WAR,SCH,WHM,SMN,BRD,BRD,DRG

Dunno about this... our PLD seems to be able to keep Dreads in place so they barely move before there killed. Unless someone else is helping him stun them or something, because they literally only manage a few steps xD

Same, we have our WAR MT the whole fight, the PLD keeps the Dreadknights stunned and they die having only taken a step or two.

Our DPS composition currently is BLM/SMN/DRG/BRD. In general SMN is coming out on top overall, lacks some burst dmg but serious dps for lengthy encounters. DRG compliments BRD dps nicely with the piercing debuff so with both in a team they're on par in my opinion. And having Foe Requiem helps the casters numbers quite a bit. But overall SMN does best dps within our group. Still doesn't mean id like to take 4 SMN's through coil though xD

Dunno about the other jobs, but smn has one cool feature for this fight - can dps his own conflag and dreadnight while being stunned!

We did it with only the BLM and it went perfectly fine.

Our group has no summoner and a warrior OT. I apply miasma on the dreads as scholar and it works fine.

Speak about Miasma with Healer low accuracy, its even working?

What about WHM Holy spell? Holy need accuracy? because my WHM in group doing that and I noticed most of healer does not have accuracy to hit anything in Coils

I wonder so next time when I see him do that again, I poked his head and stop doing that
