    360 controller + kb/m combo??

Ok, so I spent all day trying to play with the kb/m. It's just too clunky and inaccurate for me. So while i've invested in a Logitech G105 and G600 I will only force myself to use them on games that have no controller support at all (GW2, RTS games).

With that said I do like having more buttons on a kb/m (just the movement that sucks) so I wanted to know if I can keep using my 360 controller but also have my many g keys (g105, g13, g600) to do things like go to hunting log, auto switch classes, use emotes and the like?

    Any help is appreciated.

Yes I do both, that's how I've always done it, I love the controller layout in this game, but the keyboard is necessary for chat, the kb/m still function in controller mode.

Can anybody explain how to do it? When I'm using the 360 controller the kb/m work just fine for typing in chat. but that's not all i want to do. I have 6 g keys on my g105 12 (without modifiers) on my g600 and 22 on my g13.

When I put the game in kb/m mode the skills etc are mapped to number/letters so getting the g keys to work is no problem. However whenthe game is set to 360 controller the skills etc are not set to kb buttons any more and the Logitech devices wont work for macros or bringing up the logs because they are no longer set to a key.

any way around this or do I just have to leave the game in kb/m mode and just use the controller to walk around?

Even with the cross-hotbar enabled you can still display up to 6 horizontal bars and 4 vertical bars. Just map your kb/m hotkeys to those bars. You might have to manually map things in the keybind settings but that's just a one time fix. Also you need to disable the direct chat option in the settings or your keyboard hotkeys won't work.

How do I go about having the cross bar (360) and regular bar (pc) on screen at the same time?

Under character configuration there is a toggle for gamepad mode / keyboard mode on the top left corner of the window. Make sure it is in gamepad mode so that the cross-hotbar is displayed. Then click the hotbar settings (4th button down) and check display on all the horizontal/vertical bars that you want.

You can move these around where you want them and change the size of them in the HUD layout mode. Then it's just a matter of mapping them how you want in the keybind settings.
