Marketing or not, if you cannot produce concrete evidence to dispute a claim, you need to hush up. SE has gone as far as to make an official statement that could be challenged legally. You need to read it again. It said accounts, as in FFXIV service accounts. I myself have 3, 2 on one account and one on another. 2 was made for beta, none of them are active. They didn't answer on the question of active subscriptions.
