Achievement reward was not granted

I just completed the "I Made That: Blacksmith III" achievement which, according to the Achievements pane, says that I should have received the Master Blacksmith's Ring. So far, I have:

• Looked in every pane of my regular inventory
• Looked in every slot for my Armory Chest
• Logged out then logged back in
• Shut down the game, closing out to the desktop, and waited several hours

I still don't have my ring.

Will I ever get one?

Not if you wait for it to pop up on its own. You must go talk to the old man in Apkallu falls in Old gridania. Share your story and it should be placed in the appropriate section of your armory chest.
