Would this laptop fare any better than what I'm using? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/aspire-m5-15-6-touch-screen-laptop-6gb-memory-500gb-hard-drive/3339002.p?id=1219090454895&skuId=3339002&st=pcmcat287600050003_categoryid$abcat0502000&cp=1&lp=1

Not sure I'd trust it too much... there's likely some stronger options out there around that price point. What you are looking at is something more for casual gaming... may want to shoot for something with a little more horsepower for handling more advanced graphics. Key features to watch for are an AMD or nVidia GPU and dedicated GDDR memory for graphics. Not shared memory--that uses your main system memory. If it has it, it will specifically state that it has GDDR3 or GDDR5 memory, and usually a lot of it (not just the 128MB mentioned on this one). Aside from the obvious benefit of not stealing main memory for graphics, GDDR is also far better optimized specifically for graphics card use so it is much faster.

For instance, look at a Lenovo (IBM) they have there (pricier, but it was easy to spot right there on the same page I was on):

It specifically states it has "2GB GDDR5 dedicated video memory for a fast, advanced GPU to fuel your games."
