Lost Allegan Spear

I recently filed a ticket about how i did not get my allegan spear after hitting need on it. Everyone passed except for one person. I was the only Dragoon in the party. I do not understand why I did not get my spear. It was supposed to be mine no matter what. Because i did not realize that it did not go into my inventory. i left the first area.
i think this is something unfair in the game. possibly broken. the person who got the spear said he is ok with giving it to me if a game master asks him about it. I am from NA server Ultros. My character name is (Logan Kovak). Here is a picture of me needing it and a second picture of him agreeing for me to have it. and to top it off you can see on the second pic that I will be getting kicked out of the group for not being able to keep up with ranged dps damage.

Same thing happened to me, albeit with a much lesser prize at stake. Hate to tell you, but the GMs response to me was "If it was in your inventory and you lost it we can restore it, but if it was never in your inventory we can't help.". Hopefully you have better luck.

wow. that is pretty bad game control. in any other game if u rolled it does not cancel if you leave.

Having bug sucks. Hope SE fix that for ya. What if it doesn't? What will you do? Try again next week and pray it drops spear?

Leave the instance and you lose your roll.

I NEVER leave an area of Coil unless I'm certain I won the loot I rolled on and it plays the little victory jingle, if you left before hearing that and just 'assumed' it would appear in your inventory then I'm sorry to say this but it's your own fault.

Yup if you leave the area you cancel your roll and it goes back to the pool which is why the other person got it, the GM will do nothing for you.

damn i know that feeling your prolly getting in your stomach! All those weeks of waiting for your drop and there it WAS yet you derped and left before you could hold it. My only question is: what was the rush???

it should be automatically urs on need if ur the only one who can roll need.. its an issue that needs to be fixed same as automatically getting a drop if u get stuck on Cutscene and everyone bails on CT .. u automatically get the item regardless if u have rolled

This has happened to me in coil with the caster head.

When CT was first released, if you didn't roll need/greed/pass, and you left the raid, you would be running around Mor Dhona and suddenly get a message saying you won the item. Yay, my week's loot privilege is gone >.>

I figured it worked the same way in coil. Item dropped, I rolled need, left the area. Nope. Loot dropped to someone else that stayed in the area. I submitted a ticket, GM told me tough S*&^. Talked to a senior GM, same answer.

Meanwhile, from my days playing WoW...

Join a group with a master loot system. Master looter ninjas an item won by another player. Make a GM call, GM review the logs, takes item from the master looter, gives it to the person who won the roll, temp bans the douchebag that ninja'd.

Tl;DR
SE devs should play WoW for about 6 months, and take some pointers from Blizzard's customer service; specifically their GM service.
