About us:

Death and Taxes was originally a WoW guild formed in 2004 by a group of players whose talent and dedication attracted the attention of many more. Our guild quickly rose to the top, achieving 14 World-Firsts and over 30 US-Firsts during Classic and Burning Crusade, while at the same time maintaining an extremely fun raid environment and multiple competitive PvP teams.

Overall, DnT has a large and varied player-base. Most of us have a long history of being among the best at each game we've played, but without too much of an elitist attitude. If there is one thing that you should know about the core of our guild, it's that after years of experience being at the forefront of both raiding content and PvP across varying games, we know exactly what it takes to make a great team.

What we expect out of our players:

-Good attitude. We don't tolerate drama or players stirring up trouble.
-Skilled at both their class as well as being able to learn and avoid mechanics quickly.
-Be able to contribute to strategy. We value players who have a keen mind for strategy to speed up the learning process.
-Reliable. If you say you'll make the raids, make them. If you can't, post you can't and inform people.
-Active. Don't just log on for raids and then log off.

We are currently recruiting the following classes: PLD, WAR,WHM,SCH,BLM,BRD,SMN. Players should be well geared in their respective "main" classes. Have experience through 9. Be prepared for Savage Coil progression.

We have several openings between our 4 coil groups. Generally, players should expect to be able to raid 4-6 days a week from 8pm est to 2am est (times and days vary based upon the coil group).
