Ironic character names

[Naraku_Diabolos]

My character's name is named after Naraku from the InuYasha anime. That was his name on FFXI, until the server merge to Siren and someone was named Naraku on there, too, so I had to rename him to Narakudiabolos. My main character on ARR is Naraku Diabolos.

My other main character (I have 4 on ARR, which I will play eventually in time) is Hayley Westenra, named after the Celtic Woman singer by the same name. She (my character) even looks the same as the singer!

My 3rd main character is ironically named Inuyasha Diabolos and looks like this. I wish he (as a Miqo'te) didn't have a tail so he could look like the real anime character.

Hayley Westenra isn't Celtic, she's from New Zealand, which I suppose would make her a Kiwi. Celts tends to mean Irish or Scottish.

She toured with Celtic Woman for a year, and her heritage (great grandmother) is from Ireland. That's how she had a part with the group :P

But what is actually more interesting, many of the people with anime theme named characters are often not Japanese.

Well considering that you on an NA server...it's safe to assume that a majority of the people you meet aren't going to be Japanese. However the only thing that irks me is that the names are unoriginal and IMO I will not comm those people on that alone. If about 500 people share extremely similar names...you are quite forgettable cause you are a grain of sand on a beach. That said...it's just a name and let people name themselves however they want.

I have! And actually ty for bringing that one up, it is one of my favorite names for one reason:

They were Catniss Everdeen, and they were a CAT! I like the puns. :P

I've seen it on Balmung lol. I've seen the Obamas, a ton of Targaryens. I'm buddies with one Targaryen lol. I've also seen alot of people named after food. I always wonder were they hungry when they picked their name. I think I saw the Lanister brother and sister. XD Have also seen sith lord Vader. I've seen a mixture of the anime Fairy Tails names. I think the strangest named I saw was something along the lines of Vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv VVvvvvvvvvvv.

(by the way, I'm using examples of the names, not the actual names, so get your hands away from whatever forum banhammer button it may be floating over.)
