Bard Songs for Crafting

What would everyone think about giving Bards songs that gives crafters (or gatherers) a boost to their stats?

For example, party members within a close distance get a certain percentage increase to control/craftsmanship for 30-45 seconds.

Thought this might be a cool way of encouraging players to be social while crafting.

Crafting is already not useful enough without having to pay bards in order to do it.

I'm not sure about those circumstances in particular. But we could use something to spice up bards and also crafting.

Better would be to talk with a NPC in (as example) the carpenter guild to get a carpenter buff for the next 30 minutes

This idea will actually make bards have an unfair advantage over other classes on affecting something else outside of combat, making players feel obliged to level one. SE made each classes' role to stay in where they are, I mean having a combatant learning skills that doesn't benefit themselves at all during fights are kinda strange, right?

Also having a bard as main, I don't feel like getting hounded by other crafters asking me for that song buff whenever I'm around. If crafter/gatherer want some boost they can always ask FC leaders to activate the company action, rather than spamming "LF BRD for boost" in cities all the time. Just saying.

how about we mix it up...

how about a class called... say... "Song Writer", and they can create and play music on their instruments.
Think of it like the system from that Mabinogi game where you create a short tune out of music sheets.

So your telling me you want to waste the next battle ability for bards on crafters? After they already recived a nerf & ninja nerf for battle already.
Hmmm somehow i get the feeling people dont understand what a battlesystem is for or just want to screw with classes to make them useless..
