How do people calling themselves casual feel about the difficulty level?

I couldn't have said it better. Memorizing patterns was one of the reasons I stopped working on Ex primals. I want to be able to go out into Eorzea and find some random puzzle or NPC to talk to and frolic in the wild. There isn't anything wrong with coil or the primals but we need something else to do outside of the lobby game and lolcrafting.
