It's not that veteran player are no want to help... They do. Or used to.

You may try for help, but you can only hear "Don't tell me how to play!" so many time before no more care about help others, especially when game already teach things they don't know because they click click click click click click through all menus.

Do you actually think most people read the tooltips or that they can even read? If you've done any guildhests you should know better. Those are by far the hardest content in the game, especially if you roulette them.

problem...

Yeah that was what I was saying probably could have done the whole thing no problem in reference to the all dungeons could be done with 3 players.

disappointing players in every game

here's a funny story. back when i reached max level in wow during tbc, when they had all of those stuffy spread out class quests I played a Paladin. got to 70 and got into a raid, didn't have Redemption. It's a resurrection ability you could learn at level 10.

People would always ask me to rez them and I didn't have any clue what they were talking about.

LOL. Nice. I can relate to that. I had something kind of similar in my early WoW days as well. WoW didn't have too much hand holding back in those days. It was rather easy to overlook those "side-quests" for the extra abilities. Nice story though, got a giggle out of it, along with an instant flashback.
