DPS Waits in Queue for 45 min: POP! Tank bails. >.<

We all know waiting in queue as a DPS can be a long, long wait... And more and more these days, the dungeon pops, and as soon as we're all in it, the tank bails.

So... What to do? Exit and re-queue and wait another 45 minutes for a dungeon? Or hope that a tank joins 'in progress'? The latter never happens...

May as well try our best, and if a tank shows, bonus. If not, well, we can still get some exp..

Recently, I've finished The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak, Stone Vigil, and Cutters Cry all with NO TANK and only 3 people. Which also means no LB, and a much longer and more stressful dungeon than needed. Thank God for dragoons, fairies, titan egi and Carby...

Is 'In Progress' really just a 'Troll' button?

[I]If people want 'in progress', maybe they shouldn't be thrown into fresh dungeons from the start, with DPS at their mercy. If they click 'in progress', give them one that's in progress.

I tank and I roll in progress all the time only because I don't want to see someone fail a dungeon cause a tank dropped... I prefer to have the dungeon start at the beginning but that's not always the case...

This game sorely needs more tank oriented classes/jobs.

If you have an MMO and you have healers waiting in queue because there's not enough tanks, that's bad. That means you either need to expand your options or add incentive. They've already tried one of those.

Seriously I'm not just saying that because I main a healer. This is literally the only MMO game I've ever played where I sit in queue as one, and 45+ mins for a DPS is almost as bad as sitting around for 2+ hours in FFXI hoping you were lucky enough that someone picked you up. But at least you're not relying on it as your sole source for leveling. So that's better I guess.

More options (i.e. different styles of tanking or simply a new class or two that is presented differently) might entice other would-be tanks to pick it up. i know I certainly would, I just have no desire to be a warrior or a paladin.

SE needs to prioritize the release of another Tank class.
I main a tank and trying to level a dps, and oh god the queued time is just unbelievable compare to tank near instant. and worse is that tanks Logs off right after getting inside lol.
