Auto-attack will be implemented for Disciples of War and Magic only, and will take the form of a melee attack for all applicable classes. For instance, archers will strike with their bare fists, while conjurers and thaumaturges will deliver a blow with their equipped weapon.
Seriously? You want to make a class specifically designed to fight at RANGE run up to a mob to hit with auto-attack? Doesn't this defy the entire point of giving a ranged class auto-attack? I was expecting some kind of low-dmg infinite arrow shot to be implemented, but this is similar to FFXI.

You'll either end up standing constantly close to the mob - in which case you'll likely keep getting caught in all those AoE's you normally miss when you're standing at range - or, you'll remain at range and be at a continuous disadvantage (as you'll be wasting your auto-attacks) when compared to the other DoW who will actually be able to make use of their auto-attacks.

I'm sorry Yoshi-P and Devs - I'm disappointed in this. I'd been looking forward to the new changes to ARC but this has definitely made me stumble and think again.....
