    Monk should be more rewarding

Considering the amount of factors that you need to be aware of when playing the job, it doesnt feel like the game is rewarding the job/players as its suppose to be

Not to mention the job is overshadowed by other DPS jobs even DRGs are getting the spotlight in the end-game content due to it being a more ideal pick than monks..

MNK is the single target kings of DPS. They can solo silence T1 and T2. MNK and DRG have to worry about the same things as melee classes.

Please explain what the actual problem is to you.

MNK does need some form of adjustment. Currently, although it can beat a DRG in single target dps, it cannot beat it by enough to also account for the increase it gives to the dps of any BRD in the party. Every party usually has at least one BRD.

Furthermore DRG doesn't have the looming threat of dropping GL3 on its head in a game where most content has at least one forced drop.

Anytime we miss a positional, we have to start our combo over, sometimes several times on certain fights or with bad tanks. This can completely screw us over if we happen to be going through a burn phase. MNK? Meh, damage loss for that skill and move on to the next form.

aaaaaand DRG only has 2 positional hits that are relatively infrequent.

Except those two "relatively infrequent" positionals are the backbone of our rotations...

Musketeer can I have it? This class should do blunt damage and get a Bard like boost from Monk.

That is the best suggestion so far, just give us a new class/job that can work with Blunt damage increase.

Same for MNKs, for which all attacks are positional. You can brush off the lower damage all you want, but it's nothing to ignore. In the above regards MNK and DRG can be considered balanced. I'd argue further that MNK has it worse, but I'll drop that for now.

Still stands, MNK benefits only itself on battle and furthermore the risk/reward is not balanced in the job itself.

    This.

DRG's in a very, very good spot right now for 2.1's fights and when combined with a BRD. More total sustained damage, more burst potential, more multi-DoT potential, much more AoE potential, and less punished for phase shifts and mechanics that take it out of the fight. MNK, on the other hand, has three things going for it: the INT debuff from Dragon Kick, Mantra's healing bonus, and ST sustained supremacy if the fight and/or RNG are kind enough, but those all fall flat since they're not useful enough to even beat DRG + BRD's extra damage, much less contend with all the other advantages.

MNK individually is a good class, and worth bringing combined with a DRG. However, it's just not particularly efficient right now compared to DRG as the sole melee - if it's one or the other, you'll want DRG in every fight in the game.
