FS AND TC BROKEN!!

To clarify I'm talking about firestarter and thundercloud procs yes they are insta cast but they trigger the GCD.
Normal casts: 2.5 second cast time then cast next ability
Insta cast : cast straight away but wait 2.5 secs for gcd

Basically what I'm saying is I think these procs should not trigger the gcd, as the advantage gained is nullified by waiting for gcd.

any thoughts?
Am I asking too much?
Any alternative suggestions?

Actually nope. The cast time of Fire III and re-cast time of it is different.

I'll use my girlfriend's BLM stats. just to clarify things,

Fire III Cast Time - 3.40s
Fire III Recast time - 2.43s

Nope, tried it just now to confirm. The recast time already ended while I'm still casting Fire III under AF3 buff.

Fire spells cast at full cast time but cost higher MP when under Astral Fire. Blizzard Spells cast faster.

Blizzard spells cast at full cast time under Umbral Ice. Fire spells cast faster.

Recast times are governed by the GCD, or individual cooldowns for special skills, and are effected only by Spell Speed.

Leanr the class ? these proc are REALLY usefull. 1 sec, no mana spent and you can move. Asking for no GCD would be a killer.
