NEW JOBS!.....WHEN?

Okay I dont know if i am the only one worried about this or not, but I wanted to know has there been any straight forward talks about when there will be new jobs added. I googled and nothing.... I know that others are fine with the limited choice we have nown but come on 2 tanks is getting old fast. It seems SE doesnt consider this to be priority, but I do, am I alone?

All I ever see is talk about new hard modes and hairstyles. Okay housing was big, but seriously the prices make them a life time achievement, not something that adds to the value of your experience daily. Personally I want to see 1.Samurai 2.Ninja and 3.Rdm/Drk/Thf. I know everyone has their favorites, but atm I have yet to see a straight answer about jobs at all! What do you guys think do they need to start talkin jobs or am I alone here. Look at the server numbers dropping look at your fc losing ppl.

If they were to add in RDM it definitely wouldn't be the typical version of what RDM used to be. The reason I say this is because the current classes/jobs seem to have already covered RDM's abilities, but I'm actually okay with that thought and look forward to its release even more. Hell they might as well give it the whole rose theme it has in Bravely Default. That'd be REALLY cool imo. I just pre-ordered the ps4 CE so I can play with my work buddy and I look forward to it for the coming year. I also work 3rds and have a newborn daughter so I'm nowhere near as burned out of the content like many others seem to be. Just be patient is all; good things come in time.

When have you heard of an MMO releasing new classes in the first year? None that I know of at least. While there isnt any proof that i know of, there has been speculation of the Musketeer class. There is even a Musketeer guild somewhere apparently. Just be patient they are working on it. Im sure they are just having issues on balancing and figuring out how to add certain classes due to lore restrictions.

actually dc universe released a new power within the first 6 months of the game, it was the hard light powers that became available with the fight for the light dlc.

Sunah I understand that. I played ffxi for 6+ years. New jobs take time, but I have not heard anything at all except the smalllllll comments about musketeer, really musketeer. I am not demanding Jobs now, but to not at least have a mention of it is a bit crazy. Please show me if you have seen any significant conversation about jobs at all.

I don't know if it is the same for all servers but on this legacy server I have seen a enormous drop in players lately. People rush through content and quit, I think jobs would change that a little bit something bigger then new rehashes of primals and super modes of dungeons. Content is good doing the content with a new job would be great! I don't need anyone to defend the game, because I love it. I am a legacy player that could not wait for 2.0 after I spent all that cash on a disappointing 1.0. For me its just that I love the game, but I am dealing with the jobs. I was Samurai main in XI. I just can't fall in love with any of the current jobs.

A Realm Reborn was the relaunch of a failed MMO... why do you think they fired so many people... shutdown the servers and redid everything. It's the same world and all but thats about it.

I'd say that the people find the game boring because there really isn't much to do once you cap out for the week. Crystal Tower was fun the first few times but its way to forgiving of a raid. BC on the other hand can only be attempted once a week. So after that, there isn't much out there. Even if there were 20 more jobs.. you would just have 20 more jobs to do nothing with.

My guess would be that they would release new jobs around the first expansion.. which usually is around the year mark.

Personally I'm just messing around until Drk comes out
