People are bad at this game

I just don't understand it, let me explain -
In endgame, people are just to bad at this game, it makes it unplayable. My work schedule requires me to have to play during server dead time, There isn't much on the way of the party finder at these times. My Free Company, which i really like, really cool people, are usually online, but likely only 1-2 people who'd come along for (x) raid. So that leaves me joining the duty finder with them. This is when the game falls apart.

For fights ive never done before (which are getting fewer and fewer) I always watch a strat vid first until im comfortable with how the mechanics work. After fighting (x) boss once, i know the fight like the back of my hand, and if im unsure about something, i do the most crazy thing anyone has ever done - ask a question. Shocking i know.

The members found in the duty finder, terrible players, trying to get their cast of during Titan's landslide, Ignoring the rocks he puts on the player (and im not talking about the rock on P2 of the heart, just in general) Getting hit by this, getting hit by that, Getting exploded by Ultimaweps Bombs, and Garudas wind aoe.

This is simple stuff. I don't understand why people are just so bad. And when it's their first time, and they have NOT watched any video, or read any strat, they will stay quiet, not say anything or ask any questions. Tanks get angry at these dumb mistakes people make (rightfully) and the healers go out of mana because they just don't understand the concept of "Stop your damn cast, and move out of the way."

All this game is for me is constant wipes due to peoples dumb mistakes. Its unplayable.
The fights are easy, not simple, but easy, and don't get me wrong, i love how boss mechanics are in this game vs others, but other people are just so terrible. Don't know what to do anymore, i don't want to quit, but not playing is more fun then constant wipes.

Find ppl with same work schedules as you, you're not the only one with a messy schedule or switch to a server where your offtime is the servers prime time. And yes DF ist only used for practicing, at least I did so, there is nothing to expect. If you srsly want to improve then go PF and open a srs learning group.

New players don't have to , that what's DF for , to try and learn , sadly PF or FC/LS is -->ONLY<-- option to win any Extreme or Coil at all

As for this , i my self done all ex only 1ce (so got only 1 weapon at all) also got Ultima down only 1ce also (btw done that in DF)

SE really need's to add "New/Veteran" difficulty level for all this or just Buff parties that joined via DF , not all in this game have tonn of time to play non stop , so they have to DF , they have to 1st time battles that released weeks/months ago , need to get rid off this trend : for play content , have to beat content before .

PC-centric genre on a console-centric franchise. The type of gameplay and all it's established quirks, etc are brand new to a lot of people.

This is also a WoW-styled, DPS check/mathematical MMO that forbids parsing, which is literally the single dumbest thing I've seen in a game since the FFXI Windower debacle, people have zero way to gauge and improve themselves.

Yoshida claims to be an MMO vet then turns around and forbids parsing yet implements gearscore. Yeah, I call foul.

I know the feeling...I have to somehow learn titanEX atm, and get lucky enough with a party that can 1) progress as far as I can and 2) not rage quit if I, or any1 else make a mistake....

My only problem are the people who cant do it and rage quit. I would happily explain as much as I can to people what to do, but when these people rage quit it just disappoints me.

Don't even bother with extremes in DF. Even garuda EX which is really simple, never worked out for me in DF.

I have never had a static or FC group, and I am i90 on almost 3 jobs and have 3 primal weapons :/ its the luck of the draw.

Well, there is also the problem that the crowd that these kind of games were designed for are now one decade older than when this model of game was introduced to appease them. There just isn't that many of them left, and some of them are now 40+ years old, which does have a detrimental effect on reflexes (but thankfully leaves learning unaffected). So the game appeals to a "wider audience", but has an end game that can only be done by a small number of players. Those same players, however, also account for something like 80% of their revenue. Unfortunately, it was easier to play these games when the bulk of the player base was of the same crowd.

And before anyone says that younger players don't have the dedication or skill, that is downright wrong. They just have different expectations for games than our generation did.
