A member of my ls had an interesting run earlier in one of the Mid level dungeons, heres what he had to say :-

"Seriously, what's with XIV? It's pretty obvious that the average player doesn't meet SE's expectations. Earlier this morning I was doing The Stone Vigil as a SMN for practice and leveling.

There was an LNC in our party that actually thought that DRG was a Tanker Class. He knew of no DPS rotation and thought that LB was "Lifestream Blood" AKA Fill the bar, makes you stronger (Or something similar).

How can you reach all the way up to 41 and not read anything of what selected action does which or how the game works?

This partially explains the poor performance from the players that reach the level cap in end game dungeons and raids.

I've come to the conclusion that players do not actually read any earlier parts of the game to learn how to use the classes properly.

Hence, I beg of you Square. Please make more 50 based dungeons that actually teach the players how to actually use their class/jobs properly. Ex. Can't kill a boss until you use a LB, etc.

They need to raise the ilevel cap for the current endgame dungeons higher. Ex. Wanderer's, Amdapor's Keep 55. Pharos, Copper and Hakke (Hard) At least 60+.

Because what's happening is that the geared players that participate in DF are wiping due to the fact that the fresh 50 that just entered is taking on content that he/she isn't ready with."
