1) There's some configuration changes that can make targeting easier. I wrote an explanation in another thread a couple days ago, so instead of explaining it again, just check this link to my previous post:

2) Balmug is a legacy server, so has an even higher percentage than the others of players who are at level cap, but it should still be possible to find groups that welcome new low-level members (and are actually welcoming, not just let you join and ignore you until you're at their level). You can try checking out the Balmung forum to try and find suitable groups. (And yes, there are a lot there looking specifically for endgame players, but look around. There's a few others mixed in there as well.)

I play on the ps3 as well. Its not so bad when you get used to it. The post from Niwashi actually helps a lot. The only issue I have is with the pet system for ps3. I hate the controls and lack of hotkey controls. You have to constantly do more work to master the Arcanist classes on ps3 lol

As for FCs Taika pointed you to the right direction. Its always a good idea to check your servers forums.
