I am currently a level 41 black mage, and completing the quests. Once that is done, I'd like to make this thread similar to the "wider world" thread, by pasting known information in game citing the sources that provide it, be it leves, FATEs, or quests.

I kind of feel sorry for voidsent, though. They are very conflicted and contradicted. They are not of this world, yet they can be trapped in our world, in books like the Necrologos, or pots, or other people's bodies. They can not return to our Lifestream*, yet they can manipulate our Lifestream - some even seem be to conjurers (ahrimans in the conjurer story line, and in general). And, it's even implied that they feast on our aether sometimes, or simply disrupt it and make it manifest as corrupted elemental sprites.

*I made clear mention that the aether of voidsent is rejected by our Lifesteam, as per the lore found in a particular guildhest, in another thread. Yet, in the black mage quests we are killing voidsent who enter through a fissure from the void into our world, and then using blood of the slain voidsent to calm Hydaelyn's Lifestream and aether and close the fissures? We are returning voidsent blood to our Lifesteam - and there wasn't blue flame explosions?
