Causal and hardcore players discuss

Casual players complaining some contents being too hard while hardcore players complaining how there is nothing to do.

For casual players, if you find contents being too hard then that is a hint that you need to step up your game. Get better by going to same contents over and over till you have everything memorized and get good gears while you are at it. Try find good players to join you to take down hard contents.

I do understand major issue is lag (NOT FPS) especially for ps3. But what you can do about it? That's why you need to memorize so you can know what is going to happen next so you can get ahead. Not always work for Titan sadly.

For hardcore players. You ran out of something to do? Stop playing every day and all day. Just play for few hours and few times a week so that you will have some more things to do like I did.

Or rather, go help new players.

This game is only like 7 months. Give it time. We will get more contents every 3 months.

I play endgame to help and build my game. Not run pug finder.

You will find most hardcores will be in the same boat.

SE also limits the content to once a week only.....

And if you think about it... All you have to do to enjoy FFXIV is.... Stop PLAYING IT!!!!! seriously how is that even a valid suggestion in anyway.

It is devs responsibility to give us more content then we can finish... not the other way around. If anyone finishes the game the devs are failing in getting content made. Issue is SE is releasing content fairly quickly... it is just it is designed to be way way too short lived. They need a complete revamp of the style of content that is being developed. Example: 2.2 they are releasing hardmode dungeons... which will drop crap compared to coil 1-5 which is a free for all in that patch. That is wasted development time. Everything in 2.2 will probably be completable in 7 weeks once it is learned which is quicker then the next major patch.. that is a design flaw. And if they follow the current model. 2.3 will be a CT patch which is a backwards patch which is also bad.

So in 2.2 the only relevant content (content that is worth doing if you completed everything before it) is coil 6-9, levi, and maby the new moogle. That is about 1/5th the amount of content needed.

I know casuals that run out of things to do. Yoshi P said the game is DESIGNED to rush you to end game because that's where the game begins. So its not "playing all day everyday" it's just game design. And just because someone is casual doesn't mean they can't beat content. I know self proclaimed hardcores that whine about Titan X more than casuals. Casuals are not people who want things easy and everything handed to them.....those are WoW players >.>

Forcing people in the game is wrong, they just give up and leave when their sub time ends. Is there any reason to become hardcore?
