Really ... more iLv50 ish Dungeons

Is anyone else disappointed that the new HM and Amdapor Dungeons are going to be super easy....?

Why not make them at least iLv70 Min Req. ??

It is super easy to get any / all your characters to at least this Requirement by now with DR Bonuses .. etc

Easy, yeah, but still takes more than just dinging 50 to get to that requirement.

These will be the highest iLvL requirement dungeons in the game. Pharos is i49 and people think it's hard. I'm not to worried about these new ones. I suspect they will be on par with the increase in difficulty we got for the previous HMs over WP/AK, and imagine that new Amdapor will be similar to the difficulty increase that Pharos was when it launched.

Lost city of amdapor will be the hardest light party dungeon so far. If you want something really challenging, that's what the coil 6-9 raid is for.

Four raid bosses on a six month wait isn't enough content. Even if you play it kindly and include primals this is a very content light MMO due to the way they poorly utilize their assets. People just want dungeons that stay relevant so they have some variety in their play. These dungeons will go out of style immediately... provided they ever go in style, ala the 2.1 hard modes/PS.

With better methods to farm tomes added in 2.1 dungeons are barely used at all. Upon raising two new alts in 2.1, I think I only visited like 3-4 dungeons, instead I just went to CT and did Scenario Roulette as they are far more efficient. I'm not asking for super, bleeding edge elements, just for content that makes sense.

Suggestions to enhance the new dungeons:

1.) Put Materia slots on all new end-game gear (should be done anyway) and allow conversion from all drops in the new dungeons.
2.) Put some new and meaningful crafting materials as untradeable on bosses in the dungeon.
3.) Put rare vanity items, pets, mounts on new dungeon final bosses. Emphasis on rare, don't make it an "everyone gets a trophy" deal like most pets and mounts are in this game.

Adding relevancy to light dungeons and the open world (and decoupling point caps and raid lock outs by job rather than character) would probably keep me in this game longer. As it stands I plan to keep playing but have so far taken two breaks due to lack of content.

Right now too much development time is being squandered on nonsense, be it one run dungeons or the PvP system. For as much of an MMO vet that Naoki Yoshida is he doesn't seem very up on trends, like the fact that MMO PvP is essentially dead after MOBAs and the very last place anyone is going to look for competitive PvP is Final Fantasy.

Well, along with iLv55 Min Req comes gear with low Ilv drops as well. Unless they start horizontal progression with these dungeons. I'd like to see Gear and Accessories with Damage Reduction, Black Rate +, maybe Double or Triple for Mages.

There is really no reason for more Ilv90 and below gear if they are releasing cap on Mythos with patch and I'm sure they will release CT Lockout.

Does the ilv mean gear drops? So this is going to be a useless gear drops. Yay for marks and all, but no good loot?

It's the entry requirement, but it's an indicator. It likely means they'll create a new set of level 65 gear to drop in the 2 new HM dungeons and Amdapor. So new but equally useless (to most players) gear.

availability of high ilv gear, difficulty, and ilv requirements seem way out of whack in this game. IMO endgame progression is poorly designed ><

It doesn't need to be gear. Give us furniture or pets or mounts, something rare, or something besides marks that make me want to work toward the dungeon
