I have been doing 5+ runs per week of Titan HM for the last month. Every single time, at least two party members have a gear level that barely meets minimum requirements and every single time the run has failed. The minimum gear level should be 70.

i don't see any reason for raising the gear requirement.
gear doesn't prevent deaths as much as you might think.
the entire battle is designed so that the majority of the party can still be wearing (mostly) AF gear + primal weapon and still succeed. no amount of gear will save you from a direct hit from a landslide/stacked plumes/multiple bombs explodes, which are the result of latency/idiocy/bad timing/awareness. the only thing gear will guarantee is that you make it through is heart phase, and that is manageable with a limit break.
also...are you using a Party finder with the comp. of 1 tank 5 dps 2 healers or are you using DF?
another thread about titan hm….lol. at launch, most people had a mix of wp/ak gear and a few dark light pieces with a garuda weapon at best. this fight doesn't require much in gear. people do the fight in swimsuits, and with 4 man teams. trust me, this is not a strict dps check, the only part that is is the heart and if you use an lb, even with a 2 tank group, you can do it, I've seen it before. my advice; start a party finder with solo tank composition, and set the ilvl requirement for 70. why do you need the dev team to implement it into duty finder? thats what party finders requirements are for, if you don't agree with the devs requirements. duty finder for titan is kind of the bad choice anyways simply due to the 2 tank comp.
party finder: problem solved
You know, yesterday I saw far too many people shouting/recruiting for Titan HM asking for ilvl70 or even 80. . . Maybe I'm a bad person to say it but Titan HM is NOT hard. Not when he literally telegraphs almost everything he does (mountain buster being the exception if you make it that far). The heart phase is a DPS race like he said above, and everything else, honestly requires a few simple things:
1. Pay attention
2. Dodge, don't panic
3. Play your role properly
Yes, I understand lag happens, and better gear makes it easier, but it's NOT necessary.
Also, what helped me was learning dodge timing and positioning fighting Ultima, not to mention patient, decentlyskilled FC mates/players.
Anyone on Goblin, I'm always willing to help on Titan HM (haven't done Ex yet). Just let me know, and follow those 3 simple rules above.
On Titan, Dodging will trump DPS for most of the fight. Don't try to get that last rotation off if you see Plumes, Landslides. This is where a lot of people fail.
