ps3 transfer to ps4

Hey, I used my ps3 account on the ps4 beta because I thought the transfer thing did not start until April 11th. Now when I go to the ps3 I can't play it. So does this mean it is now a ps4 account? When I go to mog station it says its registered to ps4 beta phase one. So if I wanted to play my character on ps3 for a month I gotta buy a ps3 copy again if I were to do it? And if I use that registration code, do I get 30 days added to my account? Been looking all day EVERYWHERE for these answers and its getting tiring. Please help

That's not possible you needed to create a new character for ps4 not transfer over... They never gave the option to transfer another character over...

No it made me make a new character, I couldn't use my ps3 character. But I used my square enix account on the beta. Now when I go to the mog station it said its registered to the ps4 beta phase one. And if I want to play it on the ps3 I have to buy another copy.

So just t make it clear it never let me transfer a character, but my service account from ps3

Do you see? Idk how to take a screenshot if I can add one of the mog station. But also my account is inactive. But also it says its attached to ps4 beta

Although I did hear that transferring a PS3 to PS4 version was a one-way thing which disables the PS3 portion when it activates the PS4, that should only apply to the final released PS4 version. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't have disabled your PS3 registration while the PS4 is still in beta.

This sounds like the sort of problem you'll have to contact their customer service about. hopefully they should be able to fix it for you.
(But once you do contact them, come back to this thread to let everyone know how it went. Knowing what you found out might make it easier on anyone else who encounters the same problem.)

EDIT:
Oh, one possibility. The PS4 beta is free so doesn't require an active subscription, but the PS3 version does require one. Is your subscription paid up for the current month? If not, that could account for it being inactive.

Sorry I didn't understand it at first... You created the character under ps4 and want to play the character under ps3... Personally I would wait because it is going to launch next month anyways... The above post tho would be correct you might wanna talk to customer service...

If I understood it right myself, killemSLO-mo wants to be able to continue to play his original PS3 characters on PS3, just as was possible before the PS4 beta existed. But because his account is now associated with the PS4 version, it no longer shows him as owning a PS3 version, so he can't get into the game at all from that platform.

It's intended to work that way once PS4 goes live. (Part of the rule for getting a free upgrade from the PS3 version to the PS4 version is that we're trading one version for the other and have to give up the PS3 version in order to get the free PS4 version.) But it shouldn't have already de-activated a PS3 registration when PS4 isn't out of beta testing yet. So either something else is wrong with his account (like a lapsed subscription maybe?) or else the system screwed up his account and he'll need Customer Service to fix it for him.

I created a ps4 version and had no issues going back to a PS3 version but I used my already existing account... To get a total answer the op would need to be more descriptive... Im thinking that he created a new account on the ps4 and thats what bumped it and honestly the SE support team is about as useful as broken chop sticks...
