How to "Look at Camera" During Screenshots on PS3

    Hi there,

I apologize if this is not the correct forum to ask this question, but I was unsure of where else to ask. I'm having trouble figuring out how to "look at the camera" when taking screenshots, a recent feature added during the last patch. From the lodestone post it says to hold "Pause", however, when I press and hold the start button (typically the pause button for consoles) nothing happens. A friend suggested using the "Break" key on my keyboard, but I don't have such a key on the keyboard I use. Could anyone who plays on the PS3 who has figured this out point me in the right direction? Is there a command I could type? I'm so embarrassed!

    Thank you!

I will admit, I have yet to find a way to do this with the ps3 controller. On my keyboard, the key used is Pause/Break and is up on the top right-ish area of the keyboard near the scroll lock button. I believe you can check the 'keybinds' list in your menu to see what all keyboard keys do what.

Thanks for replying! I'll check out the keybinds list when I log in later today.

Controller users are on legacy by default (I think), but that's got nothing to do with this particular function. The Pause/Break key on a keyboard makes your character turn their head and eyes toward wherever the camera is. Legacy or standard movement doesn't have any effect on it.

At least by default, a keyboard on PS3 is always set to chat, so the normal sort of keybinds used on PC don't work with it. I believe, however, that there's an option available to select somewhere that makes the keyboard usable the way it is with PCs (with keybinds for actions). That might be necessary in order to make this feature work. When I get home, I'll take a look and see if I can find that option and whether it works or not.

OK, I just tried it with PS3 and a Logitech USB keyboard. The Pause/Break key worked, and it didn't matter whether I had that "Enable Direct Chat" option checked or not. (I thought earlier that it might.)

If you don't have a Pause/Break key, check under Keybind window -> Movement tab -> "Face Camera" (at the bottom of the list). It's Pause by default, but you should be able to set it to something else.

Thank you! Thank you! I found it in my Keybinds and changed it to a key I have. I appreciate the help.
