You know all you guys have done is commented on pvp, what about notorious monsters? Quests in dungeons? NMS in dungeons? An airship that Flys over Eoreza and not instant teleport?

I haven't mentioned any of that because it's already been asked repeatedly in the past and the development team has repeatedly replied about why those things are not in the game (e.g. NMs are FATEs because players asked for that in 1.0, same with all dungeons being instanced). And as for having an airship 'instant travel', having it take real time to travel wouldn't really give anything to the game, as the airships in Eorzea are tiny, they're basically just flying minibuses basically unlike the massive ferries they were in FFXI and XII. Not to mention they'd have to then spend time making a separate 'flying' zone to provide the scenery, time and resources that could have just been better spent elsewhere.
Having said that, apparently players will be getting their own custom airships in the future so it's probable a 'sky zone' will be added at a later date, but nothing is really known about that at this stage so it's nothing but idle speculation currently.
That is the point of airships, to view the scenery if that is the case then take them out completely and put it to better use
Fates do not give that satisfaction that rare or Notorious monster give
I think the problem with FATEs is that we're all just burned out from doing them, trying to level our classes, unlocking CT, and so on.
I think I read somewhere the SE considers FATEs as Notorious Monsters or something of that effect... :B
I personally wouldn't mind NMs appearing in Eorzea, dropping unique gear/loot, and giving us another way to level our classes.
The bottom line is ffxiv does not have enough lore or content to keep it mildly interesting. I don't know why but I feel like the game is so restricted. There's nothing to explore, add more quests, dungeon quests, low level dungeon looting. Bigger dungeons. to be able to explore.
PVP (encompassing all the ideas you gave here) - No. Open world duelling is just annoying to non-pvp'ers. We get harassed, spammed, and ridiculed by people that DO want it if we don't accept and get our asses kicked. No intuitive. The instanced team fights is just fine, and WoW is very far from perfect, as stated several times here.
Cave Systems - I actually wouldn't mind this too much, I love me some exploration.
Rare/Notorious Monsters that actually drop gear/items/mounts - Do some boss FATEs, Lazy Laurence, and Cancer first come to mind. Big boss monster dude, if you contribute enough to the fight, you get a minion. Laurence is in East Shroud, if I remember right, and I forget which La Noscea map Cancer is in, I'm sure there's more than these two examples though.
Crafting - Only complaint I have about crafting is the requirement to level/use ALL crafting classes, I feel there should be an option to do recipes that net lower exp, but only require materials from that specific class/one gathering class.
Airships - what is the point of airships? To get from Point A to Point B without the gil fee of teleportation skill.
Dungeon/Raid - I don't really see the active purpose in something like this, Dungeons/raids are fine imo
The Crystal Tower - They already said it will be expanded on later, and we've only seen the entry way into CT, not CT itself, watch the end cutscene, they look through a window and Cid says something about "Finally reaching the tower".
Materia - I agree, something needs to be done with Materia to improve it, it's absolutely useless at the moment.
Did I forget anything?
