Way to Necro Bump a thread that's a month old. Anyways This thread was started before anyone knew that Brayflox HM would have been the new Speed Run Place or before anyone knew where Soldiery Tomes would drop. I've done the lost City a few times but other than that I just run Brayflox HM.

ummm whats wrong with using an existing thread to post thoughts in the search function is there for a reason and the world would be a better place if more used it instead of having 600 posts on 1 subject instead of 1 organized post.

amdapor city is easy beat it with a darklight group the first time took a few trys on diabolos door timing. you can pretty much duo all the bosses in the new dungeons, im pretty sure AF people can clear it they wont speed run it but actually finish it.
pharos is still a pain the first boss decides if you can actually win.

biggest problem is people dont know how to think on there feet & not very good gamers a mix for disaster in a game that let you buy your way through content. then you have the ones who want to make everything way harder then it actually is theres PF groups asking for ilvl80 for CT, SE ilvls are fine if you have half a brain and dont rage quit on the first wipe.

There is a difference between content that is too hard and content that is too accessible for undergeared players. I believe many including myself do not find lost city difficult at all. The problem is that when newly dinged 50s are able to bypass four tiers of content and get access to the top end gear immediately. The argument skill >gear does not hold water here because even the best player in the world will not be able to carry his own weight in i55 gear (i.e they are just looking to be carried)

I don't see your point? I just ran lost city yesterday in a roulette and the tank with 5.2k hp got demolished by diabolos. Even if the thread was started last month, the problem still persists.

That's called being a bad tank, has nothing to do with his ilvl. Diabolos does very little damage, especially with rotated cooldowns, and you can stun either of the abilities your group is having trouble with. Doors negate his only big hitting move completely.

It's the same as PS, everyone having trouble just aren't dealing with the mechanics or learning the fights.

It's funny seeing people crying for more mechanics because the fights are so boring otherwise, yet at the same time see people that can't handle mechanics that require you actually look at the screen...

Funny thing is, Lost City is even easier than PS.

I suspect the main reason people quit is because it's long compared to Brayflox, so it's 2.0 all over again.
